Our most affordable brand of dollhouse kits are the houses made by the Greenleaf Dollhouse company.  They are all die-cut 1/8" plywood doll houses with silk-screened windows.  Everything in these kits is made from 1/8" thick wood.  The miniature windows and doors must be assembled prior to installing them on the house.  Most Greenleaf dollhouses come with shingles already in the kit and smooth exterior walls.  Miniature clapboard siding and/or stucco for the exterior is optional and usually not included with the kit.  But this can vary from one kit to another so read each description to find out what each kit does or does not come with.     Small budget doll houses can have their bodies assembled in about an hour, while the largest ones could take you a couple of afternoons.  Budget houses are intended to be projects, meaning that the fun is supposed to be in the building.   And budget houses have lots of fun.    Greenleaf Dollhouse kits range in price from around  $50 for our most popular budget starter dollhouse to just around $300 for a huge 10-room Victorian dollhouse mansion.  Room additions are not available for these houses and while Mott’s can assemble this brand of houses in the store we generally charge 5 times our normal rate.
