This magnificent collection of 50-plus miniature settings is destined to be one of the highlights of Superior's 1998 auction season. These intricately detailed miniatures -- each delicately assembled and lovingly looked after by the Mott Family -- were on display at Knott's Berry Farm from 1959 to 1992, and have never been offered for sale.

Each piece is a small world unto itself, etched with precise and realistic imagery and a touch of whimsical flavor. They are truly views into realms both familiar and mystical, historical and humorous. Whether viewed as a whole or individually, these miniatures capture an American spirit both past and present that may never be seen again. In short, they are three-dimensional snapshots of a simple, joyous time.
