From the Mott's Miniatures MuseumTM,  Mott Family CollectionTM.   The 1932 Mott Home.  This is the living room of the 1932 Mott Home, one of the dozens of marvelous exhibits from the Mott's Miniatures MuseumTM Mott Family CollectionTM.    It is one of 3 exact replicas of homes once owned by the Mott Family.  This was the last of their own family homes replicated by the Mott's.  It was occupied by Allegra & DeWitt Mott when their children were very young.  The tiny electric lights actually work, quite a feat in the days when this exhibit was put together (1940's).  The little bungalow has two bedrooms, spacious dining and living areas, and even a light and airy, flower-filled solarium.  Though Mr. Mott carved most of the furniture, this was one of his easier tasks because at least he had the originals close at hand from which to work.

This is the nursery in the 1932 Mott Home.  The three samplers on the wall were copied by Barbara Mott from the originals which her mother Allegra embroidered.  Here an antique bisque doll representing Allegra Mott holds a tiny William Mott, while a young Barbara Mott plays with a dolls carriage.
